As our neighbors in Haiti struggle for a ray of hope the majority of us sit with out hearts and mind opened pouring over how could this have been. We watch our screens with flooded eyes as we see the devastation that seeming has no bounds. The mass of twisted steel and broken concrete takes up permanence in the background of every video or photo report. It is unimaginable the heart aches that families have to bear as they not only loose a loved one but watch and listen to them take their last breath. We grieve over the young that have no power neither in strength nor voice to protect themselves. They depend so much on another, what of those that have no "other"?

With clench teeth I clear my  thoughts and whisper a quick word of hope. I force myself into thinking there will be a tomorrow, there will be a future. It can't be the end can it, they have a future like the rest of us right? There has to be right? Right?
